This week, we're excited to continue our officially licensed collaboration with the MTA through a new summer capsule collection centered on the Long Island Rail Road.
For generations, the LIRR has been the route to summer—carrying New Yorkers east toward beach towns, fairways, and long weekends by the water, while serving as a familiar part of life for LI locals making their own weekend pilgrimages to the coast. Inspired by those shared traditions, this collection celebrates the train line that has long connected city and shore, linking two sides of New York that have always belonged together.
Photographed on location at Jones Beach and Eisenhower Park Golf Course, the collection features five graphic tees with original artwork inspired by the journey east. Highlights include the Take the Train to the Green Tee in summer-ready ash purple, a nod to Long Island's storied golf landscape and the championship-caliber courses that have made the region a destination for the sport. Also featured are the Greetings from Montauk and Reach the Beach Tees, showcasing vintage postcard-inspired graphics by Micah NYC.
The release also introduces a new accessory to the lineup: a magnetic golf ball marker clip available in two designs inspired by a New York City sewer cap and the city's unofficial mascot, the rat. Rounding out the capsule is the Long Island Golf Ball Cap, built for early tee times, afternoons by the shore, and the ride back west as the sun begins to set. The Summer 2026 MTA LIRR Collection releases Thursday, June 18th at 12PM EST, available exclusively online and at 176 Stanton St.
