The World's Game Preview

It’s the Summer of Soccer here in New York, and now more than ever, The World’s Game feels bigger than the sport itself – it’s a lifestyle, a community builder, and a throughline to feeling connected to the city. Everywhere you look, kits with players’ names stretched across backs on packed trains, groups gathered around corner TVs watching matches, or players rushing from work to make their weeknight league kickoff. Weekend fixtures are the norm at bars as pints hit the tables before the first whistle. No matter the language, neighborhood, or where someone comes from, the game is an essential way of bringing people together.

Our latest Summer collection highlights this level of community that is brought together by the World’s Game. Notable highlights include The World’s Game T-shirt, featuring a heritage-inspired graphic centered around the globally recognized Unisphere. Additionally, the All-Boroughs Football Club Crewneck is finished with an embroidered graphic and illustrations of a player juggling an apple for a subtle New York touch. The graphic tee lineup pulls from classic soccer imagery and ephemera, from balls ripping through netting and bicycle kicks, to the energy surrounding summer tournaments where the city’s best players show up. Rounding out the collection are the USA Soccer Cleat Keychain and World ’26 Ball Cap, two everyday pieces designed to stay with you on trips to the field or the tailgate.

Shot on location in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, we met up with our friends Ianko, Kevin, and Ralph for a routine kickabout in the rain. For generations, the park has been considered one of the city’s historic homes for grassroots soccer acting as a meeting point for communities across New York, with dozens of leagues and hundreds of matches taking over the fields every week.

The World’s Game collection is scheduled to release this Thursday at 12PM EST online & select styles in-store at 176 Stanton St.
