Founded in 1908, Paragon Sports has remained independently owned and operated by the Blank family for more than a century. Through successive generations, the business has grown alongside New York, adapting to changes in the city, the surrounding Union Square neighborhood, and the way New Yorkers play, train, and experience sport.
Today, Paragon remains a fixture on Broadway and one of the city’s longstanding destinations for sporting goods. As part of the campaign, we sat down with members of the Blank family to look back at the history of the store, its relationship with the neighborhood, and what it takes to carry a New York institution into its next generation.
